While we’re clearly obsessed with day-to-day gorgeous makeup ideas, beautiful products, but what we forget is prepping our skin before we use any of the makeup products. You guys must be thinking why prepping? This is necessary because makeup products contains a lot of chemicals as well, so in order to avoid skin problems which we all face but we never tend to notice such issues in our day-to-day life. So here are 10 Beauty Mistakes you should avoid!

MISTAKE 1

APPLYING MATTE LIPSTICK ON UNPREPPED LIPS!

We all get dry lips and specially during winters and they start peeling off, this is the time you have to take a right action. Exfoliating is the best way to get those puppies out. The best way? Physical exfoliation is most effective: use toothbrush after you’ve brushed your teeth to gently scrub off the dead cells or wrap a finger in a damp wash cloth and work back and forth over your lips. Slather with a hydrating balm and skip the lipstick until your pout is smooth and pretty again.

MISTAKE 2

SKIPPING THE NIGHT ROUTINE WHEN YOU ARE TIRED!

Telling you guys from my personal experience that a night time routine is SO SO IMPORTANT!! 2 years back I had uneven skin tone, blemishes, white spots; what is it that I was doing wrong? I took such good care and yet no results? What i use to do is wash my face and go to sleep, i was just ruining my face back then! Yes guys, this is not called your night routine. Your night time routine can make or break your look. To just wash your face and sleep then is sure to ruin your skin. Ensure you always remove your makeup, use a face wash then to remove all the remaining dirt and then use a night cream or a hydrating serum ( and these products should include all the nutritive substances).

MISTAKE 3

APPLYING CREAM PRODUCTS IN TOP OF POWDERS.

So, I have my own great example for this: i bought a liquid highlighter and after setting my base what i did was i used liquid highlighter to highlight the areas of my face and this made my face looked like a pig! So, the best way to set any liquid products is to layer powder products on top of creams: this helps lock everything in.

MISTAKE 4

NOT CURLING LASHES AND JUMP STRAIGHT TO MASCARA!

The headline says it all, If this is the step you use before applying mascara then leave a comment on my recent INSTAGRAM post “HELL YEAH” this way I know my girlfriends are doing it right! Before applying any mascara always curl your lashes for more volume. Using a eylash curler after doesn’t make any sense: A) You’ll lose some precious lashes B) it will make your mascara clumpy.

MISTAKE 5

APPLYING FOUNDATION/CC CREAM ON DRY OR UNEVEN SKIN!

Washing your face before doing makeup is ideal, but what matters the most is are you moisturising your face before applying your foundation? Applying makeup on smooth skin, which doesn’t have a pile of buildup is important. So, wipe your skin with some natural rose water and moisturise it before applying any profucts.

It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself and to make your happiness a priority. IT’S NECESSARY!

Hope you find these mistakes really helpful. If you guys try this on daily basis I would love to know your feedback and how this has improved your skin! YAYYYY!! I am so excited! Click the link below to shop my favourite pieces from my page! THECOZYVIBE MALL
